As a screenwriter, he debuted on 2002’s comedy <Baby Alone>. Jumping up again, SHIN made his feature directing debut with the romantic comedy <100 Days with Mr. Arrogant> in 2004 with HA Ji-won, which went on to screen at the Fukuoka Asian Film Festival. SHIN next worked as a script editor on the hit romcom <Unstoppable Marriage> in 2007 and then provided the script for the thriller <The Clue> (2009). He made his sophomore film in 2011, when he returned with the comedy action-adventure <Supermonkey Returns>. This began he period of productivity for the filmmaker as he churned out a number of lower-budget titles.
